The Finance Officer role is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in the leading humanitarian aid organization in Israel and a rising player internationally in the development sector.
Main scope of work :
The Finance Officer is deeply involved in controlling and monitoring IsraAID’s financial activities overseas.
Duties and Responsibilities include :
oSupport Country Directors and Heads of Mission, and field finance teams with the preparation of budgets
oProvide support and guidance to team members in field of expertise
oReview accounting for the field
oResponsible for accurate BvA (Budget versus Actual) reports from the field
oKey person in monitoring over / under spending in programs budget
oEnsure compliance with regulators, donors’ requirements etc.
oSupport in development of streamlined templates and forms for internal and external financial documents
oSupport countries through audits
oTransactions management (ERP system)
Due to the nature of the organization, the candidate should be prepared to undertake any other duties as required
University degree in Finance Management or another related field
Intermediate or higher working level of Excel
1-2 years Experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in the nonprofit sector
Experience working internationally
Familiar with Financial ERP System
