Designs and develops electronic or electromechanical equipment or systems oriented products and prepares related installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions, analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests, analyzes engineering proposals and related technical data to determine feasibility of assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment.
Responsible for prototype construction and checkout, complies operational data and prepares customer application information.
Responds to customer / client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Skills & Qualifications
BSc of MSc in Electrical engineering
At least 2 years of experience in system engineering or board design
Experience in board-level mixed-signal, analysis, and verification
Must have testing skills and strong background with use of signal analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other lab equipment
Experience in PCB & ASIC debug
Strong knowledge of high speed data converters and sampling theory - significant advantage
Experience with Automotive market and product design is a great advantage
Knowledge on overall vehicle environmental requirements and voltage and current behavior in the dynamic vehicle load scenarios is a great advantage
Educational and practical background in fundamental mixed signal concepts applicable to LiDAR systems
Technical knowledge and application experience with LiDAR or LiDAR sub-components preferred (e.g. - detectors, lasers, scanners, signal processing, or lens design).
Knowledge of any SW programming language and scripting such as C++, C#, Python
Experience with Embedded systems and firmware development
Laser Range finder and optics design experience
Experience with Power Integrity and Signal Integrity simulation
